All smiles about racing bikes!! After a long fall and winter filled with balancing training with my studies, I just couldn't wait to see where the season would take me. March had arrived and the race schedule would be basically non-stop until September. Time to get after it!!

It was a tight battle with Emily Batty and Haley Smith the entire race. We were neck and neck in and out of the woods and throughout the technical single-track of Bear Moutnain. By the last corner of the last lap, Haley went for it and I hung on to here wheel as long as a could. Crossed the line to grab the last podium spot with a smile on my face.

This is the type of racing a love! Extremely close racing and the best of friends right when the racing comes to an end. This race put the perfect start to the 2018 season and I'm on the hunt for more... Now on to California!
